The Heretic piece actually, as the journal says, is meant to buy time and would never EVER go between the comic pages. Because that’s just silly. It’s a written piece on its own, told by a different teller than the prologue. When it is all finished, it will be its own little side story; to put it with comic pages in between would be disruptive. Chapter 1 has nothing to do with it and the silhouette Prologue, while related, would cut off entirely differently; and Sarah’s wrist is still out so can’t really do any illustrations to this at present anyway aside from the very quick sumi ink paintings she does occasionally when I have extra space.

The Heretic updates Tuesdays and sometimes Fridays (or whenever I feel like it/have time to do more).

First time-reader here! Just read all of Evernight, and I want to say that Memoir of a Heretic actually fits in very well with the rest of the story. If you ever get it published, you may want to space it out a bit more with comic pages between, but the medium itself is a terrific idea! More more MORE please!

Thank you, Skander! It’s always a joy to get comments from you! Good luck with your undergrad work. Well-worth as far as intellect-enrichment but sometimes it does not feel as practical in terms of job-getting as one would hope. >>;

I just read it, and I like it thus far. Feels great to read it and think “Oooh, I know who it is”. But, my lips are zipped and locked.

Good luck with the grad school applications. I’m already thinking of where to apply and I’m not yet done with my undergrad, so I understand.
